 3 Awards for School of Law Staff at the President's Research Excellence and Impact Awards

The School of Law is delighted to announce 3 award winners from the School at the UL President's Research Excellence and Impact Awards.
These awards recognise staff at all University levels who have made outstanding contributions in the excellence and impact of their research beyond academia.
• Dr Lydia Bracken won a consolidator award for her work on the legal obstacles facing LGBTQI+ parent families.
• Professor Laura Cahillane won a consolidator award for her work on Article 41.2 - the ‘woman in the home’ clause of the Constitution.
• Dr John Lombard, Dr Hope Davidson, along with Professor Owen Doody of the Department of Nursing and Midwifery, won an interdisciplinary award for their work on Do Not Attempt Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation: Practice and Policy.

Congratulations to all the awardees; the awards showcase the depth and range of fundamental and excellent research being carried out, research that is having a positive and lasting impact on society around us. It is wonderful to see such impactful research being recognised.
