Friday, 29 November 2024

Dr Catherine Naughton, Dr Megan Ryan and Dr Antoinette Keaney-Bell on behalf of Stable Lives Safer Streets Hub (SLSS Hub), UL School of Law, are attending the North South Research Programme Conference “A Catalyst for All-island Collaboration in Research Excellence” in Croke Park on November 28th.
Dr Catherine Naughton is attending the All-Island Research Excellence Network (AIREN) workshop. Dr Megan Ryan will be a panellist for the Nurturing Talent and Early Career Research Opportunities panel. This panel is aimed at highlighting how the North South Research Project (NSRP) supports all island collaboration for early career researchers and research students that will benefit their research careers. The NSRP provides an avenue for early career researchers to build differing skillsets and expertise. During the panel, Megan will discuss how the NSRP has given her the opportunity to engage with policy stakeholders and community-based organisations as part of her work with the SLSS Hub. This has given her valuable experience with applied research as well as an insight into how evidence-based research can inform policy.
The team presented a Poster illustrating an overview of the Project and the Shared Island research to date.
