This appointment reflects Professor Dunne’s internationally recognised research, focused on hospital acquired infection completed with colleagues in the QUB School of Pharmacy in an ongoing collaboration with clinical microbiology and surveillance scientists at University Hospital 51±¾É«. This work will form the basis of an All-Ireland platform for medical microbiology innovations.
