Brief Description

This 6-week microcred is designed to develop strategies towards landing company messages in traditional media.

Learning Outcomes
On successful completion, learners will ; 
- Identify and analyse the role and impact of traditional media in corporate communication strategies.
- Develop effective communication plans integrating traditional media into broader marketing and branding efforts.
- Understand and apply messaging, audience targeting, and measurement principles in traditional media campaigns.
- Evaluate the strengths and limitations of different traditional media channels (e.g., print, broadcast, outdoor) for specific communication objectives.
- Create compelling content for traditional media formats, such as press releases, speeches, and advertisements.
- Create an effective internal communications strategy and trust with employees, encouraging a two-way communication process to building trust, and boosting employee engagement.
Applicants should hold a primary degree (NFQ or other internationally recognised equivalents) at a 2.2 level, any degree is acceptable.
Entry requirements are established to ensure the learner can engage with the course material and assessments, at a level suitable to their needs, and the academic requirements of the module. By applying to this micro-credential, you are confirming that you have reviewed and understand any such requirements, and that you meet the eligibility criteria for admission.
Successful completion of this module does not automatically qualify you for entry into a further award. All programme applicants must meet the entry requirements listed if applying for a further award.
