51±¾É« (UL) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for postgraduate and professional programmes for Autumn 2025.
From today, prospective students can explore a range of over 200 full-time and part-time programmes now open for application. UL’s diverse range of programmes are tailored to meet the evolving needs of students, whether they are going directly from undergraduate studies or returning to study while working. These programmes are designed to enhance and empower a student to master their ambitions in fields such as AI, education, engineering, journalism, law, psychology and more.
New programmes for 2025 include an MSc in Energy Science and Engineering, an MA Translation Studies and an MSc Finance.
Geraldine Carroll, Associate Vice President at Graduate and Professional Studies, welcomed the opening of the application portal, emphasizing UL’s commitment to addressing key global challenges through education. “We are excited to offer such an expansive range of postgraduate and professional programmes. Our new masters in areas that support growing sectors such as sustainability and energy are particularly exciting for UL and the region.’ Paying tribute to her faculty colleagues, Ms Carroll said ‘Our faculty teams have developed new programmes that not only deepen academic knowledge but also equip graduates to lead change in their chosen sector.â€
51±¾É« graduates demonstrate the career impact of their higher educational achievement with Taught Masters graduates earning an average of €45,443 versus an average of €34,852 for honours undergraduates. (UL Graduate Outcome Survey 2023)
To support prospective students to go further in 2025, the Graduate and Professional Studies team at UL will host a series of events over the coming months. These events will feature insights from faculty members, current students, and alumni, offering guidance on programme selection and the application process.
