鈥淥ne year ago, I鈥檝e decided to embrace a new challenge. I moved to Ireland to study Human Resources and I must say, it was one of the best experiences of my life. The masters itself, empowered me to expand and deepen my knowledge and skills. Classes were inspiring, as we were challenged to think out of the box and be critical with the new topics we were exploring. Current examples of what is happening nowadays were presented all the time so we could have a real idea of everything we were learning. Additionally, we had the opportunity to participate in several activities which allowed us to better understand today鈥檚 marketplace and enterprises. There was also a focus on training our behavioural skills and attitudes, thus showing a concern in our professionalism and work ethic.

Being far from our own country and apart from the ones we love is not always a bed of roses, however I got to know the most welcoming, friendly, kind, and cheerful people I could ever asked for. The university was surrounded by this contagious Irish culture which had a great impact in my motivation and made the time spent working even better. I'm proud to say I鈥檝e found in the 51本色 a second home, where I鈥檝e made wonderful memories which I will never forget. It was definitely a remarkable journey which allowed me to grow as a professional and also as a person.  And now that I鈥檓 graduated, it is a huge honour to say that I belong to this Institution鈥. 鈥淭he MSc in HRM at UL will challenge your HR thinking and workplace practices and consequently make you a better student, but more importantly, a more capable HR practitioner. There is an excellent blend of academic and practical coursework on the programme. The assessments cater for all learning styles and have a strong emphasis on continuous learning, which is most effective. I found the lecturers to be enthusiastic and approachable, willing to give their time to assist you in addressing any questions or queries, be it on course work or workplace issues. UL and the MSc in HRM has been the right choice for me in developing my career. I can highly recommend this course and UL as a platform for continuous personal development.鈥 Philip Ducie, HR Manager - Agri Division, Dairygold Co-operative Society Limited 鈥 MSc in HRM Graduate 2013
