Advance your Career Potential and Professional Impact - The Bachelor of Arts in Management Practice is a one-year online / blended part-time blended learning programme for experienced management professionals designed to enhance the key competencies required to provide leadership, facilitate change, manage resources, collaborate across business functions and who wish to gain a formal internationally recognised management qualification (NFQ Level 8, 60 ECTS Credits). Students develop their leadership effectiveness and creativity; learn to formulate solutions in collaboration with others and make effective decisions to address contemporary business challenges.

Programme Features & Benefits to You

You will……. Learn to identify and integrate the fundamental principles of management in the context of a changing business environment. Recognise and integrate a broader perspective of the fundamental management issues, problems, and strategies.

Practise and promote a professional standard of management practice. Demonstrate and develop skills in leading people, managing resources & projects and communication techniques.

Initiate and utilise diagnostic and creative management skills across a range of functions within the organisation. Exercise appropriate managerial judgement in the planning, design, and delivery of operational activities. Demonstrate an appreciation and provide evidence of reflective practice, self-awareness, and personal development planning. Understand the role of creative thinking and team-based learning in producing innovative solutions to organisational problems.

The programme is delivered via interactive online / blended skills-focused workshops which are supported with Brightspace, our virtual learning environment and self-directed learning. While based on relevant academic theories, concepts, and techniques there is also significant focus on individual personal development and the practical application and transfer of learning within the workplace. Continuous assessment is a core feature of the programme. Supported with the expertise & industry experience of the teaching team and combined with the diverse backgrounds and career experience of your fellow students facilitates a unique learning & personal development journey.

The Next Step - Your Progression Upon Completion

Having completed the BA (Hons) in Management Practice programme participants can progress & complete a range of Professional Diplomas (NFQ Level 9) or Master’s Programmes (NRQ Level 9) within the Kemmy Business School; this clear progression route is a significant strength and very attractive option for professional students.

This programme specifically seeks to recruit experienced management professionals from a variety of disciplines working with public, private, and voluntary sector organisations.
