51±¾É« Doctoral College is very pleased to announce a collaborative training programme (worth 12 ECTS) between UL Engage, the Centre for Sustainable Futures and Innovation, the Doctoral College and the of Young European Universities, called  â€˜Engaged Research Design for Sustainability’  Blended Intensive Programme (BIP). 

This programme offers a unique opportunity for early-stage PhD researchers to develop the skills, knowledge, and tools necessary to address the complex challenges facing our world today. Through an interdisciplinary, place-based learning experience, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the and how their research can contribute to addressing these pressing issues.

The aim of this training programme is to facilitate PhD candidates in building transdisciplinary relationships with peers and mentors, to enable collaborative learning, and the exploration of stakeholder engagement in their research.

The module provides 12 ECTS credits, which can be used as part of your professional development or elective training on your PhD programme. In order for ECTS to be awarded, an e-portfolio of activities that accompany this workshop series, must be completed.

The programme includes a physical component scheduled for January 19-24, 2025, at the 51±¾É« and a digital component, running over 12 weeks from 3rd February 2025 – 25th April 2025.
