Students of the Researching Language 1 module held their linguistic landscape exhibition on Tuesday November 26th entitled "Curating our World".

The project involved the students working collaboratively in gathering, analysing and documenting the way language and other semiotic resources are used in public space.

The exhibition show cased their work under four key topics including:

  1. Memorialisation and tattoos
  2. Linguistic landscape as a site of social support
  3. Semiotic solidarity with Palestine
  4. How problem drinking and consent are promoted as female only issue on campus
