The School of MLAL offers teaching in modern languages (French, German, Japanese and Spanish) and TESOL and Linguistics across a number of degree programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The School has significant strengths in teaching and research in areas including Applied Linguistics, Comparative Literature, and Cultural Studies and is a vibrant and welcoming place to pursue graduate research work.
