Sociology is one of the foundational social sciences with a specific focus on core social dynamics and provides explanations for behaviour and experience in relation to social contexts of everyday life.
In UL it is a central element in the BSc in Social Sciences and a popular subject choice on the BA Joint Honours. it is also offered as part of the BA in Psychology and Sociology, as well as many other undergraduate programmes.
UL Sociology also offers two taught Masters programmes including the new MSc in Sociology and Data Analytics along with our PhD (by research) programme
