 Every Move Counts

Being active regularly has significant health benefits for your heart, bodies and minds, whether you're walking, wheeling or cycling, dancing, doing sport or playing with your kids!

Update of the 2009 guidelines across all age groups with new guidelines for young babies and children included.

Take into account new and even more compelling evidence confirming that regular physical activity has benefits for all people, for society and for the planet.

Recommendations for sedentary behaviour.

No minimum threshold for time active to be counted towards meeting guidelines.

Use hours and minutes rather than minutes to present how much physical activity is recommended across the age groups.
