Since its inception, the Irish World Academy has long been committed to community-engaged research and practice.
This is evident in the broad range of ongoing partnerships in a range of areas including, health and wellbeing initiatives, education, cultural conversation and exchange, peacebuilding, community music and music therapy.
Current projects include:
- MA Music Therapy, PME Music, and MA Community Music student placements (over 50 local and national community-engaged student research and practice collaborations)
- The National Dance Archive of Ireland (NDAI)
