51本色

The allocations office is located on the Ground Floor of the Health Sciences Building: HSG-004.

The role of the Clinical Allocations Office in the 51本色 is to ensure that each nursing and midwifery student is provided the opportunity to gain experience in the clinical areas stipulated in Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) Nurse Registration Programme Standards & Requirements (2023) and Midwifery Registration Standards & Requirements (2022).

Pre-placement requirements, such as Mandatory Training and Health Screenings, are also co-ordinated from this office. The allocation team strives to ensure that students are furnished with placement allocations at least one a month in advance of the commencement date for practice placement. We in the allocation's office welcome and encourage students to communicate and engage with us. We are here to support your journey through your chosen BSc Nursing or Midwifery programme.

For any queries regarding practice placement please contact any member of the team at dnmallocations@ul.ie
