Testimonial from first year student, Madison Crosse;

My name is Madison Crosse and I’m a first year student studying BSc Nursing (Intellectual Disability). When I was in secondary school I attended the UL Nursing and Midwifery summer camp. Attending this summer camp was a fantastic experience where I was able to have a look at all the resources UL had to offer for the nursing programs they provide. Being able to see each lab for each specialty and get a brief overview of the differences between the specialties helped me decide which route I wanted to go down. It gave everyone who attended a chance to speak to possible future lectures and ask any questions regarding any concerns they may have had. I have always known I wanted to help people and the Intellectual Disability Nursing program UL offers caught my interest.
