Past Events

CASI 2023 15 - 17 May 2023 

The ISA holds an annual conference, the  (CASI).  A booklet listing all speakers from the first 20 years of CASI is available .

This year MACSI will host CASI 2023 from Monday 15th - Wednesday 17th May 2023. More details to follow. 

 (IGS) 2023 2 - 7 July 2023

The conference will focus on edges in glaciology, which may include: beds of ice sheets or glaciers, supraglacial processes, crevasses, calving, grain boundaries (of ice and snow crystals), and perhaps philosophical edges.

Study Groups in 2023

Meeting

Irish Mathematical Society aims to further Mathematics and Mathematical research in Ireland. Its membership is international, but it mainly represents mathematicians in  Each year the society holds a scientific meeting in September (or late August). 

We are delighted to announce that MACSI will host the 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting in the 51±¾É« on Thursday 31st August and Friday 1st September 2023.

Seminars

The Mathematics and Statistics seminars are given by experts from all over the world, on a variety of topics within and related to mathematics and statistics. Seminars are held on Friday afternoons at 4 pm unless stated otherwise.

An overhead projector and projection equipment are available in the seminar room.
