Congratulations to our AHSS colleagues who received President’s Research Excellence and Impact Awards at the special event held in The Pavilion, North Campus on Tuesday.
Professor Hilary Moss, Irish World Academy of Music and Dance won an “Overall Researcher Award” which celebrates individuals in the early stages of their research career, defined as those who have held a post that includes responsibility for developing their research agenda.
Associate Professor Lydia Bracken, School of Law, Professor Laura Cahillane, School of Law, Professor David Fleming, School of History and Geography, and Associate Professor John Lombard, School of Law, all received Research Output Faculty Awards. These awards acknowledge the excellent research that has been carried out across the university. Research outputs include research that is published, disseminated, or made publicly available in the form of accessible research outputs.
The Early Career Researcher Awards and Outstanding Research Collaboration Awards are adjudicated by the Research Impact Committee, chaired by Professor Helena Lenihan, while the Research Output Awards are decided by faculty committees.
