Dr. María Palomares recently participated as a Spanish language expert at the International Seminar “L’impact de l’intelligence artificielle sur l’enseignement des langues” in Tunisia. Held on September 26th at the Ecole Nationale des Ingénieurs de Tunis, the event was organized by the Bureau du Conseil de l'Europe de Tunis, the EU Delegation in Tunisia, and EUNIC Tunisia. María presented on 'The Digital Linguistic Bias (DLB) in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Large Language Models (LLMs) in Spanish' during a roundtable discussing foreign language teaching in the AI era, exploring new pedagogical approaches and AI integration in language education.
