Central to our efforts to promote equality, diversity and inclusion across the 6 Departments and Schools in the Faculty is working with the . This is an international award for Higher Education Institutions who have proven their ongoing commitment to advancing these principles. The work within the Faculty reflects the overall ethos of the university, which has been involved in equality and gender-related initiatives since 2005. UL was one of the first Universities to receive the Athena Swan Bronze award in Ireland in 2015 in recognition of these efforts.
